A vehicle's loss of market value is the decline in price caused by premature wear to appearance and operational characteristics. It arises from damage and subsequent repair of relatively new cars.
Total-loss applies when restoring the vehicle is either technically impossible or economically unreasonable (the repair cost approaches the value of an undamaged vehicle).

Loss of market value reflects real material damage and arises because restoration repairs reduce the market value of the vehicle (appearance and operational characteristics deteriorate, strength and durability of certain parts, assemblies and protective coatings decrease, and factory assembly integrity is compromised). The LMV payment is monetary compensation to the vehicle owner for the reduced consumer value of their car.
Restoration is deemed unreasonable when expected repair costs equal or exceed the vehicle's pre-accident value. In that case, the recoverable loss equals the pre-accident value minus the residual salvage value. Under auto insurance, total loss is the case when damage equals or exceeds 75% of the insured value of the vehicle. The exact "total-loss" threshold is set by the insurer's policy, and the insured sum is set by the insurance contract. The insurer compensates the loss within the insured sum minus residual salvage.

"Please attend the inspection of the damaged vehicle Subaru Legacy, plate 01KG848LOL, on 08.08.2028 at 9:00 at the address: Bishkek, Atbashinskaya 2/1, Technical Expertise Department. In case of no-show the inspection report will be drawn up without your participation."
The telegram must be sent no later than 4 business days before the inspection. Send it with delivery confirmation. Make a copy of the telegram text and have it stamped at the post office; keep the postal receipt and the delivery confirmation.
